Michael C. Forman, Managing General Partner
Prior to co-founding f|b Capital Partners, Mr. Forman served as a senior partner in the Corporate and Securities Department at the Philadelphia based law firm of Klehr, Harrison, Harvey, Branzburg & Ellers LLP. In addition to his career as an attorney, Mr. Forman has been an entrepreneur and has founded two finance companies: Mercantile Capital, a mid-size asset based lender and factorer and Preferred Capital Bidco, L.P., a Small Business Administration lender. Mr. Forman is a member of the Board of Directors of a number of our portfolio companies. In addition, he is a member of the Board of Directors of the Eastern Technology Council of Pennsylvania and Murex Investments, Inc., an economic development/venture capital firm, where he chairs the Investment Committee. He is on the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Chapter of Habitat for Humanity and a member of the Philadelphia International Airport Advisory Board. Gary Brandeis, Managing Director.
Mr. Brandeis has more than 19 years of commercial real estate experience. His career has included senior level and partnership positions with Lincoln Property Company, Sage Real Estate Group, and Meridian Realty Advisors. Mr. Brandeis' experience and expertise includes development, finance, acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, and joint ventures. Mr. Brandeis was also the founder and managing partner of PropertyLogic LLC, an innovative real estate technology company that has won numerous awards including the Digital Innovation Award given by the Realcomm Conference. He started his career in public accounting with Price Waterhouse. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.S. in Accounting from The Smeal College of Business of The Pennsylvania State University. Joseph A. Breen, Chief Financial Officer
Since 2001, Mr. Breen has served as the chief financial officer of Mercantile Capital L.P., an asset-based lender and factorer. Previously he was Chief Financial Officer of a privately owned publishing and trade show company. Prior to that, Mr. Breen served as Vice President-Finance for Robinson Alarm Co., where he managed financial and operational aspects of a diverse group of companies with a concentration in real estate and the commercial alarm industry. Ryan D. Conley, Vice President
Mr. Conley joined f|b Capital Partners in 2006. Before joining f|b Capital Partners, Mr. Conley was a Senior Associate in the Investment Banking Group at Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, where he was responsible for providing valuation analysis, transaction execution and advisory services to companies in the water and energy industries. His investment and advisory experience includes private equity and debt investments, public equity and debt offerings, mergers, acquisitions and other corporate finance assignments totaling more than $1.8 billion in transaction value. Emily J. Hofstad, Senior Associate
Ms. Hofstad joined f|b Capital from Lincoln Property Company where she was a senior associate overseeing several large development and property management projects. She was also involved in property acquisitions and real estate advisory services. Prior to Lincoln she was a property manager with Lowe Enterprises in Washington, DC. Ms. Hofstad holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University and is a licensed real estate salesperson in Pennsylvania and Virginia.
Stephanie Peterson, Controller
Ms. Peterson joined f|b Capital Partners from Mercantile Capital where she was the company controller. At Mercantile, she managed all facets of financial operations including cash and transaction management, investor reporting, tax reporting, and asset based lending procedures.
