f|b Income Advisor, LLC, a registered investment adviser, manages the activities of FS Investment Corporation (“FSIC”), the first investment product to be distributed by Franklin Square Capital Partners. FSIC is a publicly registered business development company, or BDC, that invests in senior secured debt, second lien debt and mezzanine debt securities of small and middle market companies throughout the United States.
At f|b Income Advisor, we are responsible for the overall formulation of FSIC’s investment strategy, selection of top-tier sub-advisers to assist in managing FSIC’s assets, and the ultimate approval of all investments made by the Company. In building FSIC’s portfolio alongside FSIC’s sub-adviser, GSO Debt Funds Management LLC, an affiliate of The Blackstone Group L.P., we will adhere to a disciplined, defensive investment approach focused on long-term credit performance and principal protection.
Our experienced staff of investment professionals, led by Michael Forman and his co-founder at Franklin Square Capital Partners, David J. Adelman, has extensive experience in private debt, private equity and real estate investing, and has established an expertise in using all levels of a firm’s capital structure to produce income-generating investments.
